You all have been so supportive with the HAVE FAITH MAMA t-shirts, that I thought it was only fitting to create another t-shirt… AND, you don’t haaaaave to be a Mama to wear this one! Although you also do not have to be a Mama to wear the HAVE FAITH MAMA tee either! I digress… Here it is:

I am super excited about this shirt because it is so true for me. I am a stay at home Mommy and days can almost always get crazy fast! When I put God first and rely on Him everything feels lighter and seems to fall into place! Adding some coffee into my routine always seems to be the perfect pick-me-up as well!

Whether you are a Mommy, a student, a teacher, or simply anyone in this crazy place we call life… it’s so important to prioritize. Putting your Faith first and foremost is always going to help and pay off in the long run! Coffee is just an added perk! Being a Mama of 2 under 2 has seriously been the most amazing, rewarding and tiresome gift I have ever been given. So by relying on Jesus daily, I am able to focus on all the beautiful moments that occur right in front of me every single day! Like I said, coffee is just a perk but seems to really help me kick it into high gear when I need an energy boost!

Marie Lynn Skincare.

My sweet new friend Sara recently sent me these amazing products and I have been loving them ever since! In todays world it seems everyone is seeking out products that are all-natural, organic, non-toxic, pure and simple… Well, these products can check all those requirements off your list! Not only are all her products beautifully packaged they also are truly good for you and won’t harm you OR your children. All of us Mama’s know how delicate and sometimes sensitive our mini’s and their skin can be, so the last thing we want to do is irritate them, these products are just what we have all been looking for and more!

eucalyptus | grapefruit S P R I T Z:

This refreshing + multi purpose mist fills the room with the most glorious fragrance! When I first received this package in the mail, this is the first product I reached for. I immediately sprayed it in my car and fell in love! My husband even agreed that the smell was not too strong, yet refreshing. That’s a win-win in my book!

organic S A L V E:

MMM! MMM! MMM! // all purpose + skin-loving salve for the whole family! This was the second product I reached for after basking in the refreshing scent of the spritz! I took a tiny smudge using my index finger and smoothed it over the top of my hand. It’s true! It really is “buttery soft and ready to love on your skin!” I proceeded to apply the salve to a couple of mosquito bites I had gotten from the night before and it drastically made a difference; no scratching and the redness completely vanished by the following morning! This product is also safe on our sweet sweet babies! I applied it to my 6 month old daughter who had a dry patch of skin on her belly and it is doing the job wonderfully with no signs of irratation! I slipped this little guy right into my diaper bag so I will always have it on hand (no pun)! 😉

cocoa~mint L I P  B A L M:

I have always loved trying out new lip balms, literally ever since I’ve been a young girl! I was THAT daughter that always asked Mom to buy me a new sparkly something-or-other (typically lip gloss) from the store! So this item probably won’t last long in my hands! It is so smooth and glossy, I feel like it melts the second it touches your lips. Leaving you with a subtle yet beautiful shine, all while repairing your dry, cracked lips! I should also mention, you are going to be tempted to eat it, as it has a light smell of chocolate because of the cocoa seed butter ingredient. Y U M!

clay facial mask F R E N CH  GREEN:

If you have never had the chance to try a clay facial mask, here is your perfect opportunity! This mask feels completely luxurious when its applied. You’re going to want to slice a cucumber and place them over your eyelids and take a nap when using this spectacular product! It was worth taking a little extra time after my shower to apply this to my face. My husband has put in his request that I do his face next!

I asked Sara to share a bit of her story and how she decided to create these wonderful products! Here is what she said,

“I’m a stay at home mom of 4 kids who range in age from 2 to 11 years old. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and we live in a small community in Nebraska. When my 4th baby was born, I got introduced to essential oils and fell head over heels. Some rashy skin issues with my daughter and some really bad blemish problems with myself pushed me into researching more about natural and organic skincare. The salve I sell today (with some modifications) was one of the first things I tried to make. It became addicting, looking through my mainstream products and thinking: “I could make that!”. I became increasingly convinced that skincare was a significant way that my family could reduce their toxic load and receive the therapeutic benefits of essential oils in a daily, convenient way. Every last one of my products contain essential oils in safe dilution rates, to boost the therapeutic nature of the product and speak to it’s intended usage.

A couple of my friends really encouraged me to make the products available for sale for other mamas who were in the same boat. So last August (2015), I did! Over this year, I have settled into the handful of products that I sell today. These products have been formulated and developed based on my own family and friend’s needs, so they are very dear to me, and I feel as though I pour my own heart into each jar and tin.

I’m currently studying essential oils and skincare through The School for Aromatic Studies (online) to continue to educate myself in this field.”

So thankful for Sara and all her hard work, determination and love that she puts into all her products! Make sure to check out Marie Lynn Skincare at: http://www.marielynnskincare.com/shop

2 Promises my kids deserve that I plan on keeping forever + that’s a promise!

“Suuuuuure we will buy you a pony honey! I promise!”

“You want a four wheeler and a puppy? You got it! I promise!”

Does anyone else remember hearing their parents make silly little promises that you held onto for way too long!? I honestly thought my three brothers and I were all going to get our own puppy and yes, our very own four wheeler as well! To this day, we laugh at my Dad for making that promise, but ya know what… We had plenty of puppies growing up and we even had that four wheeler as well. All is good and now that I am a parent myself, I can look back and see how amazing my parents were and frankly, still are! I mean they really did get me the pony (horse) they always promised! Sorry if that ruins this a bit for all you ladies that never got one! Go buy one for your kiddos, they will thank you later… I promise!

Seriously though making promises, real promises, is something I hold myself accountable to. I made a promise to Paul (almost) 3 years ago to be his wife through good times and bad… He makes that promise easy for me! I love that man so much and he really is such an outstanding Dada! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… He still gives me butterflies to this day when he walks through the door! It really is true… I promise! Since our anniversary is approaching, I have been thinking about that marriage commitment we made to each other and the promises we made that day. I thought, I want to make clear promises to the mini loves of my life as well! So here they are, the 2 promises I am making to Lazar and Mila that I will never break!

**(This picture was taken right before nap time if you couldn’t tell by Lazar’s face haha)

image

O N E: I PROMISE…

to cherish the little things, the little moments. That means:

to take a step back and forget about the messy house that needs to be cleaned and just chase you and tickle you.

to always kiss and hug you even if its embarrassing (sorry I’m not sorry). I think about being old and grey and still reaching out for your hands to hold them and remember how much you needed me… But really I’m the one that has always needed you!

to pray for you forever… I know you are both going to grow up and I won’t be able to hug and kiss you every day (I WISH + I can’t think about that right now ((tears))) but I CAN and I will pray for you everyday! I will continue to ask God to watch over you, protect you and keep you both safe, happy and healthy!

All this… I promise you! The little things really can mean the most!

image

T W O: I PROMISE…

this one is short and sweet, but means the most of all…

to love you.

to love you unconditionally.

to love you to the moon and back.

to love you so you’ll know, no matter what happens in life, Mama loves me! You will never have to worry or question that!

to love you on your good days and yes, even on your bad or sassy days, as I like to call them.

to love you forever. And ever and ever!

Gosh, I really LOVE YOU 2!

In my head I promised myself these things before Lazar was even born. I’m so thankful God placed these thoughts and feelings on my heart to think about and write down! I will probably make many promises to my kiddos throughout their lives and they may even laugh at me one day for how unreachable those presumed promises were (although if I could, I would give them the moon and stars) but they can rest assured, Mommy isn’t breaking those 2 promises listed above: cherish the little things and my love!

Have Faith Mama(s)…what do you want to promise your kiddos? Think about it, it’s so heartwarming… I promise! 😉

Embrace What Matters Most.

When I start to get ahead of myself and put what matters most on the back burner, I quickly come to find out… that’s never a good route. When I think I can handle things on my own, or when I worry about things that I have no control over, I am disobeying God. God wants us; as His children, to trust Him in everything we do in life, and He truly means EVERYTHING! Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” We all get ahead of ourselves in our day-to-day lives and I find it is most important to take time out to praise our Lord and Savior!

I recently purchased this devotional: “365 Devotions To Embrace What Matters Most.” By: John Michalak. I am really loving it! I find that having a devotional leads me to the Bible. It always helps me to relate the Bible’s content to my everyday mundane life; it is a connector of sorts leading me to dive deeper into Gods word. Just by taking a little time out of each day to read this has really made a ton of positive differences! For instance this was todays message:

“The Season You’re In:

People often struggle to appreciate the season they’re in. In the heat of summer, they dream of snow. In the cold gray of January, they dream of barbecues and swimming pools. And although many favor the moderate seasons of spring and fall, too often those times are also marked with an impatience for what’s next.

In the same way that spring can be linked with renewal, summer with vitality, fall with letting go, and winter with death, so too do the seasons you’re living through have similar themes. And it’s important that you don’t miss what they have to teach you.

What time is it for you? Is it a time to start over, a time to embrace life’s fullness? Is it a time to regroup and let go, or a time for closure and moving on?

Here’s something to remember about seasons; they have a purpose. And they’re temporary.

Don’t miss the season you’re in.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. -Ecclesiastes 3:1″

-John Michalak

image

Reading todays message struck me to my core. I am in an amazing season; The “raising little mini’s” season! It is a season of glorious highs, filled with cuddles, laughter, kisses, milestones and love! But as we all know there is no season without the occasional storms… my season of life has storms of worry, anxiety, inadequacy, bruised knees, runny noses, and tummy aches. But, after reading today’s message I realized that I get caught up in the storms sometimes and forget about all the sunny days ahead of me! Raising our kiddos is so rewarding and I literally wouldn’t change a thing about it. Even when I feel like daydreaming about the less chaotic days ahead, I know I will miss this season with all my being! Its such an amazing time in my life and today I am so glad I was reminded to embrace each and every (sometimes stinky) season in life!

What it all boils down to, is putting God first! Don’t let the world fill you with doubt and worry. Put God first, treat Him like you would treat a brand new love… you want to know all about them, you want to be with them, you want to grow old with them, you want to be loved back by them! That’s all Jesus wants from us and He deserves it! So if it’s as simple as a cute little devotional to steer you closer to God or if it’s as simple as cracking open your Bible with your favorite worship music in the background, do it! And do it with all your heart! Each season will be a heck of a lot less stormy with Jesus as your umbrella and sunshine!

Have Faith Mama(s)… what starts as a simple idea can quickly turn into a humbling success!

O’Neal & Co. Natural. Simple. Handmade Soap

Ok, so I’m super excited about this post! The sweetest Mama contacted me and asked if I would try out her amazing soap! she let me choose one so I picked “Utter Heaven” from her Etsy shop. Let me just tell ya, it really is heaven! Not to mention it arrived looking absolutely adorable! I mean the detail in the soap itself is honestly the cutest touch! My son saw it and immediately pointed to it enthusiastically saying, “Mama, MOOOOOO!”

image

I couldn’t wait to shower that night after receiving this soap in the mail. This particular soap (Utter Heaven) is made out of oatmeal, milk, and honey with pure shea butter… It smells so yummy I wanted to take a bite right out of it! The texture is soft and creamy leaving your skin feeling, not only clean, but smoooooth! 😉 I also love how thick it is, so you really get good bang for your buck, priced at only $6!

image

I asked Emily, the Mama who creates these dreamy, soapy bars of goodness to tell me a little bit about how she got into the soap business. This is what she had to say:

“When my son was born, it became immediately evident that he had sensitive skin. After trying lotions and soaps across  the market, without much avail, I knew it was time to dig deeper in order to make progress. That is when I learned to make old fashioned handmade soap. What I love about this is knowing every ingredient going into the soap, and I can include additives that naturally improve the skin. In my journey as a mother, I have met many people that have endured the same struggles, and simply want to have healthier skin by using natural handmade soaps. And so, O’Neal & Co. was created in order to spread the love of healthy skin and natural soaps.”

image

Emily is such a great example of a Mama who put her baby first and went the extra mile to help him out with his sensitive skin. What a blessing it is now that we can all share in on her natural, simple, handmade soaps! Check out her Etsy shop and all the other soaps she offers:

Have Faith Mama T-Shirts

So I must admit, sometimes when I am at home all day with the kiddos and my husband is out working I feel guilt set in. I feel guilt that I’m not bringing any bacon home, ya know? Although, he does an amazing job at assuring me I am doing THE most important job right now… that is, raising our babies as a stay-at-home mom! For that, I am truly thankful and would never take it for granted! I digress… So there are many days I try and think of small ways to generate any type of income. Well, let me introduce the “HAVE FAITH MAMA” t-shirt!

image

I am honestly so excited to finally have my little Etsy shop up and running for all you Mama’s to be able to purchase this amazing t-shirt for yourself! A ton of thought went into designing this shirt. I wanted it to be simple but classy. My goal in creating this unique t-shirt was basically to inspire Mama’s out there to just “have faith!” We all know raising kiddos is no small task! So when you have days you just want to curl up on the couch with your new favorite t-shirt and an oversized comfy sweater, you should be able to do just that!

image

Or when you finally get the chance to have a girls night out and you want to show off how cute your new favorite t-shirt is, you can do so!

image

Seriously though, one of my favorite clothing items is a simple, yet comfortable t-shirt that I can pair with just about anything. When I created this t-shirt I wanted to make sure it would be great quality and fit, so I chose to print this very important message on an American Apparel shirt. It’s a 50/50 blend of cotton and polyester. I’m telling ya, you won’t want to take this bad-boy off its so soft and comfy! Being able to throw it on with a pair of leggings or putting it under a leather jacket with your favorite ripped denim is such a classic trendy look!

image

No matter how you pair this t-shirt, the message remains… HAVE FAITH MAMA! As a Mom I know all to well that days are frequently out of my control and that’s when I am reminded that God is ultimately in control! So when we put Him first and remember to just have faith everything is going to be just fine!

image

Have Faith Mama(s)… One day (before we know it) our little mini’s are going to grow up and ask us how in the world we did it! In which case we’ll have the perfect hand-me-down t-shirt for them! 😉

Here’s the link to my Etsy shop where you can purchase your own HAVE FAITH MAMA t-shirt: https://www.etsy.com/listing/280742918/have-faith-mama-t-shirt

Hope you’ll love it as much as I do! Make sure to post a picture of your new shirt and hashtag: #havefaithmama on Instagram so I can see how you style it!

Vacay as a Family of 4

Don’t get me wrong, I certainly wanted to get away from the gloomy Wisconsin weather for awhile, but just the thought of packing and traveling with our mini’s was giving me slight anxiety. I was stressed about what I would need to pack for the kids…like, “Do I bring their monitors?” “How many outfits should I bring for each kiddo?” “Do I pack diapers or do I save room and buy them when we get there?” EEEEK! I was overthinking ever little thing. Vacation is supposed to be relaxing right? All I could think is, it might be easier to just stay home. Hindsight, I realize how crazy I was for thinking that way (haha)! Thank God for my husband! He puts up with me and my nuttiness… He assured me everything will be fine; he was right, he’s always right somehow (eye-roll)! If you were wondering… Yes, we brought their monitors and yes I packed their diapers along with waaaaaaay too many outfits each, but ya know what? I’m so glad I did! Totally worth it!

image

As soon as I finished packing for all 4 of us, I then began getting nervous about the flight. I have never been an anxious or nervous flyer… until I had children. If I am on a plane and it goes down that’s one thing, but my babies being in any type of danger scares me more than imaginable! I needed to remind myself that God is watching over us and HE is ultimately in control! Giving all my fears to the Lord gave me the confidence I needed during our travels. Being calm and collected (I believe) helped keep Lazar and Mila calm on the flight since they both did amazing! Our sweet little travelers exceeded our expectations. They are truly wonderful! Also, and SO important, traveling with Grandma and Grandpa was clutch! Without them, I don’t think things would have went as smoothly!

With the flight behind us, it was now time to get ALL our luggage and the rented van. We decided to check Mila’s carseat and rent Lazar’s. This worked very well! Renting Lazar’s carseat was worth every penny… not sure we could have managed lugging around two carseats. The only reason I brought Mila’s, is because she is still in an infant one and it clicks right into our double stroller, which Paul’s parents brought down for us (since they drove). That worked wonderfully! Thankfully we had one set of grandparents fly with us and the other set driving down with a couple of larger items like our stroller and pack-n-play (talk about life savers)! What a treat it was having both sets of grandparents on the trip to make memories with!

As soon as we got to the house we rented, it was bedtime for the kiddos. Lazar is old enough now to realize he was in a strange place. He was not happy that first night… This is where the monitor totally came in handy. Lazar finished his bottle and I placed him in the crib (provided by the house) just like I do at home, but with the added exhaustion from traveling all day and the new surroundings he wasn’t pleased. I knew he would fall asleep in a jiffy if I just let him be. So having the monitor to keep an eye on him was perfect! He was out within minutes! Bringing his noise machine and a crib sheet with familiar smells of home was also helpful in aiding him to sleep! It’s the little details I swear by!

Waking up in that beautiful house was so refreshing! The decor was exceptional and the location was great; minutes away from the beach and yummy restaurants (like Starbucks for our morning coffee runs)! I was so happy I didn’t chicken out and opt out of this vacation! I wanted to move in for good after the first night!

image

I loved that Lazar and Mila seemed right at home as well! They were able to nap, while Mama got some much needed sun! I was so thankful for every moment! Of course not everything went off without tears here and there, but for the most part the kiddos did fantastic and I’m honestly proud of them!

image

image

There were days spent on the beach and days spent at the home we rented in the pool. I quickly realized the Florida heat and humidity for a 4 month old can be a bit much. Mila wasn’t the biggest fan of the beach, but we certainly made the most of it! Lazar loved the water, although it took him a couple tries to get used to it. So again,  having the help of family and friends was such a blessing!

It was definitely a unanimous feeling that everyones favorite time to be at the beach was at sunset! We took this vacation with a bunch of family and friends so we knew it would be challenging to make plans with such a large crowd, especially with mini’s involved, so meeting up each night on the beach for sunset was so special! Not to mention beautiful!

God truly blessed us with amazing family and friends! Being able to travel with them was an absolute pleasure! I will remember this trip for a lifetime. Each day was a new adventure, even if that “adventure” was just taking a walk down to the local park, it was a blast! Without my parents and Paul’s parents I don’t know if we would have been able to do it. At least not as smoothly! Having a glass of wine and chatting each night as the babies slept was one of the other memories that is just so simple but so great. The laughs and good company were even better than the sandy beaches and palm trees!

I swear Lazar and Mila both grew so much on this trip! Paul and I made sure to get our cuddles in with them and really soaked up this beautiful family vacay as a family of 4!

Can we go back already!?

Have Faith Mama(s)…taking time away as a family is worth every sweet moment!

Easy Like Sunday Morning.

It has been far too long since my latest post and I am certainly sorry about that! I just couldn’t think about what I wanted to write about next… When I originally decided to start a blog I had compiled a list of topics I knew I wanted to touch upon. What I have come to realize is, I don’t need a big, exciting “topic”each and every time I post. That’s when I realized this blog is an outlet for me to write freely about whatever I am feeling at the time. Although it may seem weird or even irrelevant to some… I truly believe God wanted me to start this blog, even if it would reach just one person… to give them hope, reassurance, acceptance, encouragement, or simply, whatever that one person needed to hear to… just help!

If you know me, you know my favorite day of the week is Sunday. I love Sunday’s because it’s the one day my husband, Paul doesn’t work. He is truly the most motivated and hard working individual I know! I admire him more than he’ll ever know, he is an amazing father and husband!

image

There is just something so special watching the man of your dreams with your kiddos… the way he caters to them and tells them how he loves them, brings warmth to my heart and happy tears to my eyes!

image

On Sunday’s Paul gets to spend the entire day with me and the kiddos and we all cherish it! Sunday is the day of rest it’s the Lord’s day; Paul and I have, and always will, put God first in our lives. We put God first in our lives because we know without God and the death of His son, Jesus Christ, we wouldn’t be here. We wouldn’t be able to have quiet Sunday mornings spent together as a family to rejoice in the simplicity of enjoying slow mornings together. The truth is, we deserved the death Jesus endured on our behalf, we are the sinners, but still Jesus paid the price for us all and because of Him we have eternal life in Heaven! How amazing is that?! We don’t deserve it and there is nothing we can do to get ourselves to Heaven other than to acknowledge the fact that Jesus was sent to earth to die on the cross for OUR sins! Acknowledging that truth will set you free of your sins…it doesn’t stop life from getting hard at times, but it does give you hope in challenging situations.

Having two kids in two years has come with its set of challenges. One of those challenges is, it can be impossible to make it to church on Sunday mornings… I have heard and read that blaming your kids for missing church isn’t an excuse… I’m sorry, but I would have to disagree. Now, now… let me be clear, I’m NOT saying just because we have young children we’ll never make it to church until they are grown, but some days napping is simply a necessity. When nap time overlaps church time Paul and I look up a sermon and watch/listen to it while the kids get their much needed rest. Today was one of those days! The message I took away from todays online sermon was, Life isn’t against you!

image

Life isn’t against you! How encouraging is that!? When I heard it, it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders! Life happens, your living room may be cluttered and filled with toys, your young kids nap time sometimes overlaps with church service, your post-pregnancy body may never look like your pre-pregnancy body… but you know what? Life isn’t against you! When you put God first, your life will all fall into line after Him; especially because He is ultimately guiding it! When you trust and put all your worries onto God’s shoulders you realize there is no weight left on yours! Mathew 6:33-34 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

image

When I start to prioritize things above God, that is when my load gets heavier, my worries increase… the house will never be clean and tidy enough, my body won’t be skinny enough, my time in the day won’t be long enough… But today I was reminded, Life isn’t against me. God wants me to prioritize Him so He can lighten my load. So today I made sure to acknowledge that truth! Paul and I decided to relax and enjoy our slow Sunday morning! So breakfast bakes, strong coffee, messy house, pj’s all day and tons of baby snuggles and kisses were our focus and our reality! Knowing and thanking God for it ALL as simple as that is!

image

image

We’re all human and we all can play the “victim card” like life is against us and nothing ever goes our way. When we start to get down on ourselves the very best medicine is JESUS and His word! Crack your Bible open and let the words speak to your heart. Prioritize God and know that Life isn’t against you because God is for you! Romans 8:31 “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

image

At the end of the day, even if all you did was survive, know that is enough! Laundry can wait, dishes can wait, messy rooms can be messy! We will never get sweet moments back so when we soak them in and thank God for them, that is enough!

Have Faith Mama(s)…Life isn’t against you, because GOD is for you! When we acknowledge that, Life can be Easy like Sunday Mornings!

Phoebe Elliot Moccasins

I know I know… I mentioned these adorable moccs on a previous post, but I needed to do another to talk about just how awesome they really are! I don’t know about you Mama’s out there, but when putting shoes on my babies feet, half the time they were off within a few minutes. I found myself constantly putting their tiny little shoes back on their tiny little feet over and over again… So most of the time I would just give up and socks it was, although those seem to constantly fall off as well.

image

I kept noticing a bunch of trendy Mama’s putting their little ones in these mini moccasins and thought, “I can’t wait to have babies, and see their precious feet in a pair!” When I found out I was pregnant with Lazar I think moccasins were the first item I purchased for him. The pair I purchased were cute, but the quality wasn’t as great as I was hoping for; and at the time I didn’t really know any better.  A close friend of mine recommended the brand she recently purchased (Phoebe Elliot), so I thought I would give them a shot. Glad I did, now I’m hooked on Phoebe Elliot moccasins! Not only are they 100% genuine leather, but they are functional and actually stay on! There are times I make sure to put Mila’s moccs on just so her socks will stay on too!

The colors are beautiful! If you are in search for a more vibrant color or an understated neutral tone, Phoebe will have what you are looking for! Her prices are extremely reasonable, especially because these moccs are 100% genuine leather as I mentioned earlier. You may be thinking these aren’t practical for my walking toddler, but let me assure you, my (almost) 1 1/2 year old has been walking for awhile now and his moccs have held up amazingly!

A family friend of ours who also happens to be a Chiropractor once told me that because Lazar is walking in the soft sole moccasins his feet are actually being strengthened and not limited or confined as his feet grow. Of course your little ones can’t wear moccasins forever! However, that would be adorable! I mean my husband always asks if Phoebe makes them in his size for crying out loud (hehe)!

Overall, my goal is to find great products and pass them along to you! All Mama’s out there are busy, whether you stay-at-home or leave the house for work daily, us Mama’s need to spread the word when we find something that works… Even if it is something as simple (but oh so cute) as moccasins.

I asked Phoebe if she would write a simple bio on herself and mention how she got into moccasin making and what inspires her to do so! She was so sweet and got back to me right away with this:

“I am 26, living in the PNW, best friends with my husband Ky, and follower of Jesus. I have always been the “creative type”, making this or that and a little in between. Even with my practically full time job of being a vintage dealer, I still find time to continue making the moccasins on the side. The moccasins had been something I started just for fun!

With many friends expecting; many baby showers to attend- and my previous experience working with leather- I picked it up as a hobby. They became popular in my local community very quickly! Little did I know it would spread even further to an online marketplace! I created all my patterns from scratch-drew every one out by hand which has gradually evolved over time.

I love the practicality of the moccasins. My inspiration often comes from the joy that they bring to a mamas life! Something so simple, yet fun and memorable. Life should be practical- but it should also be FUN! I can honestly say that each pair is made with love-and a squeal! ;)”

Currently the moccasins are available in three stores nationwide and via ETSY:
*My Eclectic Home / Snohomish, WA
*Eden & Faith Boutique / Portland, OR
*Rustic Nashville / Nashville, TN

Big thanks to Phoebe and all her hard work!

Have Faith Mama(s)…like Phoebe said, “Life should be practical- but it should also be FUN!”
